You are going to create a 3 paragraph ending to this story. Some questions to consider when writing an ending to this story include:
1. What happens when Charles arrives at the school?
2. How many of his friends showed up?
3. Was he the only one there?
4. Did Charles go at all? Perhaps he turned around and went to the local fast food restaurant for breakfast.
5. If Charles and his friends caught up with each other, what did they say to each other?
6. After so many years, what type of things could have happened in their lives that they would want to share?
7. Do they plan on keeping in touch and if so, how do they plan on doing this?

1. Each paragraph should contain 5-7 sentences. (5)
2. Each character should be referred to by name. (5)
3. Questions from above should be addressed in the writing piece. (5)
4. The writing piece should lack grammatical and spelling errors (no run-on sentences, no fragments, keep verb tense the same, use strong verbs and descriptive adjectives). (5)
5. Incorporate dialogue (characters' conversation with another character). (5)
6. After submitting your writing story, view 2 stories of your classmates and respond to each in 3 sentences. (5)
